Rexel USA is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join the Mayer Team in Morgantown, WV. The role focuses on proactive inside sales via phone or email to increase profitable sales, maintain customer relationships, process quotes and orders, and pursue growth from existing customers.

Responsibilities include quoting, assisting outside sales, using digital tools to promote products, and prospecting for new accounts within a defined territory.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service, sales, or electrical distribution experience.
• High School or GED - Required.

Responsibilities

• Process telephone orders by quoting prices, delivery specs, and payment terms.
• Assist outside sales personnel by processing priority transactions.
• Utilize digital tools to sell, market, promote, and demonstrate products to new and existing customers.
• Prospect for new accounts within a defined geographical territory.
• Manage a defined customer base and maintain relationships.
• Learn customer operations to identify objectives and resolve issues using root-cause analysis.
• Process quotations/proposals and follow up during purchasing cycle.
• Report market and competition trends to management.
• Participate in product meetings and training to enhance knowledge.
• Pursue product applications with internal and external resources.
• May perform other branch duties as needed.
