Motion Industries seeks an inside sales specialist to determine customer needs and ensure full satisfaction. You will develop relationships within customer organizations, guide less experienced reps, and ensure transactions are error-free while spending most of your time at the customer location.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, quotes, orders, inventory coordination, pricing negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration to maximize profitability and customer service.

Competenze

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED and five (5) or more years of related experience or an equivalent combination.

Mansioni

• Responds to customer inquiries, provides quotes and takes customer orders via telephone, fax, email, electronic methods or walk-in (counter sales).
• Orders items to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained for Consignment customers.
• Responsible for sourcing products in branch inventory, Distribution Center inventory or supplier inventory; identifies and sells assets.
• Negotiates the sale price and purchase price to influence Motion Industries’ gross profit within set parameters.
• Promotes Motion Industries’ products to existing customers and expedites backorders.
• Mentors/leads lower level employees; may act as subject matter expert on multiple products.
• Backs up Operations Manager; may pull inventory and prepare orders for shipment; may handle returns.
• May adjust non-contract customer pricing to meet demands while maximizing profit.
• Minimizes freight cost by selecting cost-effective fulfillment methods; interacts with customers to fulfill orders.
• Interacts with suppliers to obtain pricing; partners with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction.
• May assist customers by troubleshooting via phone or email to identify correct part.
• Attends training sessions for professional growth; performs other duties as assigned.
