Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions in Illinois is seeking an Inside Sales and Customer Service Representative to support operations near Glendale Heights. You will be the key contact for customers, process orders, and help coordinate logistics with internal teams and suppliers.

The role requires 2–3 years in sales support or customer service in a manufacturing setting, ERP experience (SAP/JD Edwards/Oracle), and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred; high school diploma with relevant work experience will also be considered.
• 2–3 years' experience in sales support, purchasing, inventory control, inside sales administration, or customer service in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, or Oracle.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Organized and detail-oriented; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact for customers and internal clients on orders, status, logistics, via phone and email.
• Enter data, process purchase orders and returns, update logistics and sales records.
• Coordinate with Operations and Sales to ensure orders are processed and demand forecasted.
• Review purchase orders and credit memos.
• Interface with departments and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Resolve issues with purchases, warranties, and delivery.
• Monitor inventory to ensure adequate stock for requests.
