Job summary

Consolidated Electrical Distributors seeks an Inside Sales and Customer Service professional to process orders, quote projects, and support elevator contractors on the east coast. You will split time between an office setting and warehouse activity, fostering strong customer relationships and contributing to digital initiatives.

Ideal candidates have sales or customer service experience, a willingness to multitask, and comfort in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree in technical or business discipline preferred or equivalent experience.
• Two years of experience in electrical/elevator industry or similar field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding service to new and existing customers via phone, email, and in person.
• Accurately write and manage customer orders following sales policies.
• Maintain and strengthen existing customer relationships.
• Proactively meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Collaborate with outside sales and other departments to serve customer needs.
• Suggest ideas to improve processes and service.
• Follow up on quotes, orders, and materials in a timely manner.
• Stay up to date on new products and services offered.
