Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to maintain and grow our customer base while delivering superior service. The role involves handling quotations, project orders, and multiple customer types, with emphasis on accuracy, speed, and courteous communication.

Qualifications

• High School or GED.
• 1-2 years counter experience - electrical distribution industry preferred.
• Solid customer service background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite - Eclipse knowledge preferred.
• Good and dependable mathematic, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, and complete project quotations.
• Provide accurate project management of project orders.
• Multiple customer types including contractor, government, commercial and industrial.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with project vendors and customers.
• Enter orders for different jobs for different customers.
• Setup certain customers on blankets.
• Follow up on product deliveries.
• Help counter with sales.
• Courtesy and politeness toward customers.
• Multi-task and prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day.
• Other duties as required.
