Job summary

Granite City Electric Supply is seeking a self-motivated inside sales professional to build lasting customer relationships. You will be the first impression for customers, focusing on growth and service in a leading New England electrical distributor.

Preference given to those with electrical applications knowledge and experience with Eclipse software; EPEC Certification is an advantage. This on-site role supports contractors and residential/commercial customers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Some college or vocational training preferred.
Electrical knowledge helpful for product discussions.

Responsibilities

Grow an account base and develop new accounts with the branch team.
Plan growth with the Branch Manager; showcase strong sales and service skills.
Coordinate with counter contractor sales, outside sales, and management on orders and quotes.
Process customer inquiries, purchase orders, back orders, credits, and pricing changes.
Maintain accurate customer files and vendor pricing information.
Maximize sales by understanding the market and negotiating favorable terms.
Participate in training, meetings, and events to strengthen market position.
