Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Customer Service Representative to act as a key contact for customers, ensuring total satisfaction. You will enter orders, handle requests, and provide timely, professional support while actively promoting Graybar goods and services.

Responsibilities include order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, and handling credits/claims, with a focus on courteous communication and problem solving during standard Monday–Friday shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills are essential for customer interactions.
• Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact.
• Some retail or counter sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders and provide timely, courteous support.
• Handle inbound and outbound customer calls and written correspondence with follow-up.
• Sell Graybar goods and services on inbound calls and assist with product selection.
• Coordinate service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, and order maintenance; manage credits and claims.
