Service Corporation International is hiring in New Castle, DE for a Sales Professional - Inside Sales. You will generate leads, cultivate relationships with families, and collaborate with funeral directors to provide compassionate, comprehensive service.

A strong emphasis is placed on empathy, communication, and meeting client needs in a sensitive, timely manner. This role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1-2 years of college or education/experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of college or an equivalent of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain an insurance license if required by state.
• Pass the internal presentation certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Lead generation: prospect daily, obtain referrals, network and present to families, track activity for productivity.
• Build relationships with families: respond promptly, listen, understand needs, stay in touch and provide value.
• Teamwork: collaborate with funeral directors and staff to provide seamless, high-quality service, review past contacts and share family concerns.
• Prepare for appointments and address client needs with professionalism.
• Develop trust-based relationships and encourage referrals.
