Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, seeks an Inside Sales Associate to grow our customer base and deliver outstanding service. You will provide quotes, manage orders, and help drive sales across contractor, government, commercial and industrial accounts.

Qualifications

• High School or GED.
• 1-2 years counter experience - electrical distribution industry preferred.
• Solid customer service background.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite - Eclipse knowledge preferred.
• Good and dependable mathematical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Reliable, responsible, and a great work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate, and complete project quotations.
• Provide accurate project management of project orders.
• Manage multiple customer types including contractor, government, commercial and industrial.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with project vendors and customers.
• Enter orders for different jobs for different customers.
• Setup certain customers on blankets.
• Follow up on product deliveries.
• Help counter with sales.
• Courtesy and politeness toward customers.
• Multi-task and prioritize tasks to be completed throughout the day.
• Other duties as required.
