Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar family, seeks an Inside Sales Associate in Maryland to maintain and grow a diverse customer base. You will provide consistent, superior service, support project quotations, manage orders, and help drive sales and margins with a customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• High School or GED is required.
• 1-2 years counter experience in electrical distribution is preferred.
• Solid customer service background is expected.
• Strong math, verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Reliable, responsible and hardworking attitude is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate project quotations.
• Provide accurate project management of orders.
• Handle accounts in primarily Industrial, OEM, Government, and some Construction sectors.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with vendors and customers.
• Enter orders for different jobs and customers.
• Set up customers on blankets when needed.
• Follow up on product deliveries.
• Assist sales counter as needed.
• Maintain courtesy and professionalism with customers.
• Multi-task and prioritize daily tasks.
