U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to handle inquiries, quote pricing, and support the sales team from our New Jersey–area location.

You will manage orders, assist with pricing and terms, and maintain strong customer relationships in a fast-paced environment. The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years in inside sales or customer service within the electrical distribution sector.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years in inside sales or customer service.
• Experience in electrical distribution preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Eclipse or Solar ERP experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and process orders via phone and email with accuracy and urgency.
• Provide quotes on pricing, delivery, and payment terms; suggest alternative products when needed.
• Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
• Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses to ensure timely customer communication.
• Build strong customer relationships by offering knowledgeable and solution-oriented service.
• Coordinate with internal teams including credit, warehouse, and counter sales as needed.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
