U.S. Electrical Services, Inc. (USESI) invites applications for an Inside Sales Associate at our Costa Mesa, CA location. The role supports customers by phone/email, quotes pricing, and assists outside sales with orders. The team focuses on fast, accurate service and strong customer relationships.

The position requires 2+ years in inside sales or electrical distribution, MS Office proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. It is an onsite role with comprehensive benefits as part of USESI.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or electrical distribution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Eclipse or Solar ERP is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable with basic math and product comparisons; must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Onsite work required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and process orders via phone and email with accuracy and urgency.
• Provide quotes on pricing, delivery, and payment terms; suggest alternative products when needed.
• Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
• Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses to ensure timely customer communication.
• Build strong customer relationships by offering knowledgeable and solution-oriented service.
• Coordinate with internal teams including credit, warehouse, and counter sales as needed.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
