You will respond to customer inquiries, prepare quotes, and process orders by phone and email while supporting outside sales with timely follow-ups. The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in inside sales or customer service, and proficiency with Microsoft Office plus Eclipse or Solar ERP.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or electrical distribution.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Eclipse or Solar ERP is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries and process orders via phone and email with accuracy and urgency.
• Provide quotes on pricing, delivery, and payment terms; suggest alternative products when needed.
• Support outside sales representatives by managing transactions, quotes, and order follow-ups.
• Track open orders, backorders, and project statuses to ensure timely customer communication.
• Build strong customer relationships by offering knowledgeable and solution-oriented service.
• Coordinate with internal teams including credit, warehouse, and counter sales as needed.
• Recommend and help implement process improvements to drive operational efficiency.
