Job summary

Rutronik Electronics Worldwide in Detroit is seeking a sales-oriented team player to support the achievement of sales and margin targets through reliable customer and order management. You will manage quotations, orders, samples, delivery schedules, and inquiries, build strong customer relationships, and identify new sales opportunities across Rutronik’s product portfolio.

Collaborate with Account Management, Product Marketing and Supply Chain to ensure smooth order flow; fluent English and MS

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service, or order management.
• Ideally experience in electronics distribution, electronic components, or another technical B2B environment.
• Strong customer focus, organizational skills, and a structured, proactive way of working.
• Fluent English and confident use of Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or CRM systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the achievement of sales and margin targets through reliable customer and order management.
• Manage quotations, orders, samples, delivery schedules, and commercial inquiries throughout the sales process.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through professional day-to-day sales support.
• Identify additional sales opportunities across Rutronik’s product portfolio and support the development of existing and new customers.
• Maintain customer, contract, and project data and prepare reports for sales planning and performance tracking.
• Work closely with Account Management, Product Marketing, Material Management, Supply Chain, Accounts Receivable, and Customer Service.
