Job summary

Wisconsin Steel & Tube Corporation is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to deliver exceptional service to assigned customers and actively grow opportunities in Milwaukee, WI. You will handle pricing, quotations, order processing, status updates, and delivery requirements while pursuing new business with existing and prospective customers.

Ideal candidates have an associates degree or 1 year of relevant experience, strong sales skills, and proficiency with MS Office tools.

Qualifications

Requires associates degree; or one-year relevant experience and/or training; or combination of education and experience.
Experience in industries such as industrial supply sales, agricultural service, metal manufacturing, or distribution is preferred.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities are required.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary day-to-day contact with all assigned customers/accounts.
Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers.
Prepare accurate and timely quotations; obtain pricing, availability, lead times, and processing details.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer communication.
Proactively communicate changes to customer commitments and follow through to resolution.
Monitor customer needs and identify service, delivery, price, or availability concerns.
Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues.
Escalate significant issues to sales leadership when needed.
Maintain accurate customer information, contacts, notes, and opportunities.
