Job Summary

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative for a direct hire opportunity in Shreveport, LA. The Inside Sales Representative will support customers by phone and email, enter orders into the system, schedule deliveries, and provide timely updates. Key Responsibilities

• Take customer orders by phone and email in a friendly, professional manner.
• Enter customer orders accurately into the computer system.
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries to help ensure timely service.
• Assist customers with product questions, order status updates, and general inquiries.
• Communicate with internal team members to support order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain organized records and follow established order entry processes.

Compensation and Benefits

• Direct hire opportunity.
• Salary range: $40,000 to $45,000 per year.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Location: Shreveport, LA.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Process customer orders by phone and email.
• Enter orders accurately into the computer system.
• Schedule and coordinate customer deliveries.
• Provide professional customer service and order support.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Inside sales, customer service, retail counter sales, cashier, or order entry experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering orders.
• Comfortable using computer systems for order processing and customer information.
• Clear and professional communication skills by phone and email.
• Ability to stay organized, manage multiple customer requests, and follow through on details.
• Positive attitude and commitment to providing reliable customer support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in wholesale trade, distribution, import-export, retail sales, counter sales, or a related customer-facing environment.
• Familiarity with scheduling deliveries, coordinating orders, or supporting logistics-related customer needs.
• Ability to build strong customer relationships and work well in a team-focused environment.
