Kinkelder seeks an Inside Customer Support Specialist to support our Inside Sales team. You will enter customer orders for products and sharpening services into our ERP system, review orders for accuracy, and ensure timely release to production.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of experience in order entry, B2B customer service, inside sales support, or a similar role.
• Fast and accurate data entry with strong attention to detail.
• Experience with an ERP or order management system; Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Basic Excel and Outlook skills including filters, sorting, and simple formulas.
• Clear and professional communication with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to manage incoming calls and emails while handling daily order volume.
• Strong organization, follow‑through, and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer calls and emails regarding order status, delivery dates, and shipping updates.
• Prepare and send quotes for products and sharpening services.
• Work with Production and Purchasing to provide customers with accurate lead times and product availability.
• Keep customer records, order information, and correspondence current in the ERP system.
• Enter and process customer sales orders for two KINKELDER branches.
• Enter and manage orders for sharpening services, helping ensure they are processed and shipped on time.
• Review orders for accuracy and completeness before releasing them to production.
• Print shipment documentation for manufactured items.
• Follow up on order issues or missing information to help prevent delays.
• Work closely with Inside Sales, Production, and Purchasing to keep customer orders moving.
• Communicate order changes, issues, or delays to the appropriate team members.
• Provide backup support for other office processes as cross‑training grows.
