EMJ Metals is seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our growing team in Orlando, FL. You will manage inquiries, quotes, and orders while building strong customer relationships and identifying growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of inside sales, customer account management, or industrial distribution experience preferred.
• Experience in metals distribution, manufacturing, or industrial sales is a strong plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound customer inquiries, prepare competitive quotes, and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow their business.
• Proactively follow up on open quotes, sales leads, and customer opportunities to convert quotes into orders.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through outbound calls, prospecting, and account development.
• Promote EMJ's extensive inventory of steel, aluminum, specialty metals, and value-added processing capabilities.
• Work closely with outside sales representatives to support territory growth and strategic account development.
• Negotiate pricing while maintaining a strong focus on profitability and gross margins.
• Collaborate with purchasing, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure customer expectations are met.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, and follow-up notes.
• Consistently deliver exceptional service while meeting individual and team sales objectives.
