Job summary

AWC Inside Account Manager in Plano, TX will maintain daily contact with customers, develop relationships, and grow our business alongside Technical Account Managers. You will meet sales objectives while exceeding customer requirements as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions across the manufacturing industry.

You’ll forecast, analyze account data, handle RFQ/PO processes, and pursue opportunities to close orders at higher margins.

• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Be available and responsive immediately when needed.
• Willingness to be on call for after-hours and weekend support occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and retain customers to drive a high-performance sales team and succession for accounts.
• Process RFQs and POs from customers.
• Establish and manage customer requirements, including quote follow-ups and pro-expedite POs.
• Direct sales forecasting, analyze account sales data, and promote sales.
• Coordinate with Outside Account Managers and Project Managers on profit, inventory, and pricing for key accounts.
• Review work processes to ensure quality standards are met and suggest improvements.
• Identify opportunities to close orders at higher margins.
