Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Revenue Cycle – InRule Administration to own payer-specific rules within InRule and ensure end-to-end order-to-cash workflows align with Brightree.

The role translates complex payer policies into scalable rule logic, administers InRule, and collaborates with payer rules analysts, configuration specialists, and Revenue Cycle partners to optimize performance and compliance across DME businesses.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in healthcare technology, payer configuration, or related function preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Direct experience developing and administering a business-rules engine or comparable platform.
• Ability to independently author, debug, and optimize complex rules without IT support.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical rules and necessary configuration.
• Experience with rule development, testing, deployment, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Own the InRule environment, including rule authoring, decision logic, testing, deployment, and optimization for Brightree integration.
• Translate payer policies and operational needs into technical business rules and logic.
• Independently develop, refactor, and tune rules, decision tables, and reusable components.
• Maintain standards for change management, version control, and governance.
• Perform impact analysis, testing, validation, and troubleshooting of rule changes.
• Maintain a centralized inventory of payer rules and dependencies.
• Monitor performance, identify defects, and optimize rule logic.
• Collaborate with RCM, Payer Relations, and IT on integrations and data flows.
• Identify opportunities to reduce denials and unbilled revenue through better rules.
