Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager, Revenue Cycle – InRule Administration to own payer-specific business rules within InRule across our DME businesses. You translate complex payer policies, optimize rule logic, and ensure end-to-end order-to-cash workflows align with payer requirements using InRule and Brightree.

The role partners with payer rules analysts, configuration specialists, and Revenue Cycle teams, driving rule development, testing, and deployment while guiding others without direct

Qualifications

• 5+ years in healthcare technology, payer configuration, or related technical function preferred.
• Experience developing and administering a rules engine or decision-management platform.
• Ability to independently author, debug, and optimize complex rules.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical rules and necessary configurations.
• Experience with rule development, testing, deployment, version control, and production support.

Responsibilities

• Own InRule environment including rule authoring, testing, deployment, and optimization.
• Translate payer policies into technical business rules and logic.
• Develop and tune rules, decision tables, and components to scale with payer complexity.
• Maintain standards for rule development, testing, deployment, and change management.
• Perform impact analysis, testing, and troubleshooting before and after production deployment.
• Maintain centralized inventory of payer rules and dependencies.
• Monitor rule performance and identify defects or optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with IT and technical stakeholders on InRule–Brightree integration.
• Support new payer implementations and system migrations.
