Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager, Revenue Cycle – InRule Administration to own payer‑specific business rules across our Brightree‑integrated end‑to‑end order‑to‑cash workflows. You will translate complex payer policies into scalable rule logic, administer InRule, and collaborate with payer rules analysts and IT.

This role emphasizes technical leadership without direct people management. You will help optimize rule execution, ensure governance, and support system migrations while partnering

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in healthcare technology, payer configuration, business‑rules administration, or related technical function.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Direct experience developing and administering a business-rules engine or comparable rules-based tech.
• Ability to independently author, debug, and optimize complex rules and decision logic.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical rules and downstream configuration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical owner for the InRule environment, including rule authoring, testing, deployment, and optimization of rules supporting Brightree.
• Translate payer policies and operational needs into technical business rules and decision logic within InRule.
• Develop, refactor, and tune rules and rule components to keep the environment scalable as payer complexity grows.
• Follow governance standards for rule development, testing, deployment, and version control; suggest improvements.
• Perform impact analysis, testing, and troubleshooting of rule changes before and after production deployment.
• Maintain centralized inventory of payer rules, configuration, dependencies, and changes.
