Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager, Revenue Cycle – InRule Administration to own payer-specific business rules within InRule and its Brightree integration across DME businesses.

The role translates payer policies into scalable rule logic, manages rule development, testing, and deployment, and partners with payer rules analysts and IT for governance and optimization. Strong InRule experience is essential, with healthcare payer knowledge a must.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in healthcare technology or payer configurations.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Direct experience developing and administering a business-rules engine or comparable rules-based technology.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical rules and logic.
• Experience with rule development, testing, deployment, and version control.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the InRule environment and rule authoring for Brightree integration.
• Translate payer policies into technical business rules and logic.
• Independently develop, refactor, and tune rules for scalability.
• Adhere to governance standards for rule development and deployment.
• Perform tests and validation of rule changes before production deployment.
• Maintain centralized inventory of payer rules and dependencies.
• Collaborate with IT and technical stakeholders on integrations and data flows.
• Identify opportunities to reduce denials and unbilled revenue through rule changes.
