Job summary

UW Health is seeking an RN for the Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. The position offers 50% FTE with Monday–Friday hours, department schedule 7:00am–11:00pm and two 10-hour shifts weekly.

You may be eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $15,000. Compensation includes evening, night, and weekend differentials, overtime and on-call pay, plus comprehensive benefits such as PTO, medical, dental, vision, retirement, short and long-term disability, paternity leave, adoption assistance, tuition

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required
• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• ACLS and PALS by the end of orientation. Required
• Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred

Job description

Work Schedule:

50% FTE, Monday-Friday, department hours of 7:00am-11:00pm, variable start times, two 10-hour shifts per week. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. You may be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign on bonus.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime
• On-call pay
