Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL, is seeking a registered nurse for 50% FTE with Monday–Friday scheduling and 7:00am–11:00pm department hours. A sign-on bonus of up to $15,000 is available. Eligible for an extensive benefits package and professional growth opportunities through UW Health.

You must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with Illinois RN licensure, BLS/CPR, and ACLS/PALS by orientation. No minimum experience required.

Job description

Work Schedule:

50% FTE, Monday-Friday, department hours of 7:00am-11:00pm, variable start times, two 10-hour shifts per week. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. You may be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign on bonus.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
• Overtime
• On-call pay

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• ACLS and PALS by the end of orientation. Required
• Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred
