Job summary

UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL is seeking a registered nurse for a 60% FTE role with department hours from 7:00am–11:00pm, Monday–Friday and two 12-hour shifts weekly. The position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package as part of UW Health in northern Illinois.

Qualifications include Illinois RN licensure, HS diploma or equivalent, and BLS/CPR; ACLS and PALS are required by the end of orientation, with specialty certification preferred.

Job description

60% FTE, Monday-Friday, department hours of 7:00am-11:00pm, variable start times, two 12-hours shifts per week. You will work at the UW Health Swedish American Hospital in Rockford, IL. You may be eligible for up to a $15,000 sign on bonus.

Additional components of compensation may include:

• Evening, night, and weekend shift differential

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program. Required
• Must provide copy of HS diploma or equivalent, or highest level of completed degree obtained. Required

Work Experience

• No minimum experience required.

Licenses & Certifications

• Current RN licensure to practice in the State of Illinois. Required
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certification. Required
• ACLS and PALS by the end of orientation. Required
• Specialty certification in area of concentration. Preferred
