Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center seeks a dedicated Inpatient Pharmacy Technician II to support unit-dose distribution and sterile/non-sterile prep under pharmacist supervision. You will restock ADSs, deliver medications, and assist in IV admixtures per USP standards.

Responsibilities include ensuring DEA/DPH compliance, training students, and maintaining accurate records. MA license and CPhT required within 60 days; hospital setting preferred. This full-time role offers competitive pay.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required.
• National Certification: CPhT (PTCB or ExCPT) within 60 days of hire.
• 1–3 years related hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems and MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint or Access).

Responsabilidades

• Restocks automated dispensing machines (ADSs) and floor stock medications.
• Delivers all medications in compliance with DEA, DPH & State Board regulations.
• Prepares and delivers IV medications per USP 797 & USP 800.
• Compounds non-sterile products and repackages bulk medications.
• Checks for expired/damaged medications and handles disposal per regulations.
