Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support unit dose distribution, assist with sterile and non-sterile preparations, and ensure timely medication delivery within our hospital network.

The role requires MA licensure as a Pharmacy Technician, CPhT certification within 60 days, and 1–3 years of related experience. Strong computer skills and adherence to safety standards are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician license in MA required.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification within 60 days of hire.
• 1–3 years related work experience.
• Good standing with the MA Board of Registration in Pharmacy.
• Experience with computer systems (MS Office).
• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

Responsabilités

• Restocks ADSs and floor stock medications following Epic workflows.
• Delivers medications in compliance with DEA/DPH regulations.
• Prepares and delivers IV medications per USP 797/800; maintains records.
• Compounds non-sterile products and repackages medications per USP 795/800.
• Checks for expired medications and disposes per regulations.
• Provides mentorship to students and technicians; supports workflow improvements.
• Maintains staffing across multiple pharmacy areas.
