Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Massachusetts is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacy Technician II–IV to support unit-dose distribution, IV admixtures, and sterile/non-sterile compounding under pharmacist supervision. The role includes restocking ADS, delivering medications, and maintaining compliance with DEA, USP, and state regulations.

The ideal candidate holds a Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license, national CPhT certification within 60 days of hire, high school diploma, and 1–3 years

Competenze

• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required.
• CPhT certification required within 60 days of hire.
• 1–3 years related work experience.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.

Mansioni

• Restocks automated dispensing machines and floor stock medications.
• Delivers all medications in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Prepares and delivers IV medications per USP 797/800 standards.
• Compounds non-sterile products and repackages bulk supplies.
• Checks for expired or damaged medications and disposes of them properly.
• Mentors students and newer technicians during training.
• Prepares specialized sterile and non-sterile products including TPNs and hazard drugs.
• Suggests workflow efficiencies and assists with new practices implementation.
• Maintains staffing in two or more areas of the pharmacy.
