Beth Israel Lahey Health (Boston, MA) seeks a Hospital Pharmacy Technician to support unit dose distribution, compounding, and medication delivery in accordance with DEA, DPH, and USP standards. The role involves restocking ADSs, preparing IV medications, and mentoring students and staff.

Required MA license and CPhT credentials within 60 days, with 1–3 years of related experience and strong computer skills. This is a full-time on-site hospital position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician license required.
• CPhT credentials via PTCB or ExCPT required within 60 days of hire.
• Maintains registration and fees with MA Board of Pharmacy.

Responsabilités

• Restocks ADSs and floor stock medications; follows Epic workflows.
• Delivers medications in compliance with DEA, DPH and State Board regulations.
• Prepares and delivers IV medications per USP 797 & 800; maintains records for admixtures and QA.
• Compounds non-sterile products and repackages medications per USP 795 & 800.
• Checks for expired/damaged medications; disposal per regulations.
• Participates in training mentorship of students and technicians.
• Prepares specialized sterile/non-sterile products including TPNs and hazardous meds per standards.
• Suggests workflow efficiencies and assists Lead technicians with new practices.
• Maintains staffing in two or more areas of the pharmacy.

Formation
