Job summary

HonorHealth's Network Float Pool seeks a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat individuals with physical disabilities, developing plans of care, following physician guidelines and department policies to restore function.

The role emphasizes communication with the care team, documentation, and contribution to quality care across the Inter-Campus Floating system; BLS and AZ license required, with prior experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Physical Therapy from an accredited university approved by the APTA is required.
• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited university approved by the APTA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements individualized, evidence-based therapy plans using exercises, manual techniques, mobility training, ADL training, and modalities.
• Evaluates patients, develops a comprehensive treatment plan with measurable goals and discharge plan.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the medical record and handles billing per procedures.
• Confers with the interdisciplinary team to clarify treatment plan and discuss patient status; communicates with care teams and case managers.
• Participates in departmental and interdepartmental meetings and supports staff recruitment and retention.
