Job summary

Emerus in Texas seeks a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) to provide safe, compassionate care under the supervision of a registered nurse for patients with predictable health care needs in a small-format hospital.

The LVN will follow the patient plan of care, document care accurately, administer medications, ensure infection control and privacy, and collaborate with the care team to support continuity and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED and graduated from an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Two years of LVN/LPN experience in an acute care setting.
• Current LVN/LPN license in the state where you practice.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Pedagogy IV Certification must be completed within 30 days of hire.
• Position requires fluency in English.

Responsibilities
