Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) to provide safe, compassionate care under the supervision of a registered nurse in a small-format hospital setting in Texas.

The ideal candidate will hold an LVN/LPN license, have at least two years of acute care experience, and possess BLS and ACLS certifications with Pedagogy IV training within 30 days of hire. English fluency is required for effective communication.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in the state where you practice.
• Two years of LVN/LPN experience in an acute care setting required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification; Pedagogy IV certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, compassionate nursing care under the supervision of the RN and in line with the patient plan of care.
• Completes accurate documentation reflecting the plan of care.
• Administers medications per organizational policies and delivers patient-centered care.
• Communicates with patients, families and healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Maintains infection control, safety, and patient privacy standards.
