Requires state LVN/LPN license, BLS and ACLS, and English fluency; Pedagogy IV must be completed within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Two years of relevant experience as LVN/LPN in acute care
• Current LVN/LPN license in the practicing state
• Current BLS and ACLS from American Heart Association
• Pedagogy IV Certification due within 30 days of hire
• English fluency in written and spoken form
• Clearances under state Acts (e.g., Child Abuse/Historical) completed or to be obtained

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients per plan of care.
• Perform focused assessments and accurate documentation.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Report data to aid in planning and outcomes with the care team.
• Communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Attend required staff meetings and perform additional duties as assigned
