Job summary

Emerus Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide safe, compassionate nursing care under RN supervision in a 16-bed small-format hospital in Texas.

You will follow the patient plan of care, document diligently, and support the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes. The role requires an LVN/LPN license, 2+ years of acute care experience, BLS/ACLS certification, and completion of Pedagogy IV within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED and LVN/LPN license.
• Two years of LVN/LPN experience in an acute care setting.
• Current LVN/LPN license in the state you practice.
• Current BLS & ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Pedagogy IV Certification must be completed within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, compassionate nursing care under supervision.
• Follows patient care plan as directed by RN.
• Completes accurate nursing documentation.
• Performs focused patient assessments.
• Administers medications per policy and procedure.
• Communicates with patients and families and healthcare team.
• Maintains infection control and patient privacy.
