Job summary

Mille Lacs Health System is seeking an RN to provide quality care in Pediatrics, Medical, Surgical, Emergency, Senior Care, Nursery, Chemotherapy and Ambulance Transport as needed. The role emphasizes nursing process, patient/family collaboration, and adherence to policies.

You will supervise non‑licensed staff, maintain certifications, and participate in ongoing training to meet Minnesota regulations, with rotating 12‑hour shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, unencumbered RN license in Minnesota.
• Criminal background check as required by the State of Minnesota.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 3 months of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.
• All newly hired RNs will receive in‑house trauma training within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality care across Pediatrics, Medical, Surgical, Emergency, Senior Care, Nursery, Chemotherapy and Ambulance Transport as needed.
• Supervise LPNs, Nursing Assistants, and Health Unit Coordinators as needed.
• Conduct patient assessments and plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality and support a respectful work environment.
• Operate within state law, hospital policy, and governing guidelines.
