Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is hiring an Acute Inpatient Registered Nurse - RN for Green Bay, WI. This on-site, full-time role involves providing and coordinating nephrology care, assessing patients, and participating in education and quality initiatives within the dialysis program.

The RN contributes to planning and delivering safe, effective treatment, collaborates with physicians and nurses, and supports CAP education and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Hemodialysis and/or ICU experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Documents patient data in medical records and communicates changes to the team.
• Educates patients and families about learning needs and treatment plans.
• Directs and provides safe patient care for assigned patients during all modality procedures.
• Coordinates communication with dialysis providers and facility staff for continuity of care.
