Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry‑level Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Services CAP program in Illinois. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, assess and plan care, and collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and patient care technicians to support kidney disease patients.

Responsibilities include data collection around dialysis treatment, adjusting care plans as needed, and participating in education, leadership, and quality improvement initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
• Must meet the practice requirements in all states in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients.
• Delegate appropriate tasks to direct patient care staff as needed.
• Participate in decision‑making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities.
• Collect and analyze patient data pre‑, during, and post‑treatment and adjust the treatment plan as indicated.
• Coordinate communication with dialysis providers and facility personnel to ensure continuity of patient care.
• Administer medications and respond to adverse events as prescribed.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current appropriate state licensure

CPR BLS Certification

Practice requirements in all states employed
