Moffitt Cancer Center seeks an experienced Inpatient Facility Coding Educator to lead education and audits for inpatient oncology coding. You will train coders, support documentation improvement, and ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM/PCS and CMS guidelines.

Expertise in HIPAA-compliant documentation, data integrity, and reimbursement is essential. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to develop effective training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• Inpatient coding expertise with ICD-10-CM/PCS and related guidelines.
• Experience with coding audits, education, and training.
• Strong knowledge of CMS, NCHS, and APR-DRG, MSDRG guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Initiates, executes, and manages clinical documentation and coding reviews for inpatient oncology care.
• Provides on-site support, training, and education to coders and providers.
• Develops education plans for new hires and monitors implementation and problem resolution.
• Ensures documentation supports appropriate reimbursement and data integrity.
