Savista is seeking a Healthcare Coder to review clinical documentation and assign ICD-10-CM and PCS codes for Facility Inpatient records. The role ensures accurate MS-DRG calculations and compliant data abstraction to support billing and regulatory requirements.

The coder will maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, collaborate with client staff for data integrity, and adhere to Savista’s Compliance Program. Two years of coding experience and AHIMA/AAPC credentials are preferred.

Formación

• Two years of hands-on coding experience with all record types.
• Familiarity with ICD-10-CM & PCS coding systems.
• Ability to code at 95% accuracy while meeting quality standards.
• Proficient in basic MS Office (Excel/Word).

Responsabilidades

• Review and analyze clinical records to ensure MS-DRG assignments reflect diagnoses and procedures.
• Abstract clinical data from records to support diagnoses and discharge disposition.
• Serve as a resource for data integrity and compliant coding practices.
• Maintain current knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, regulations, and third-party requirements.
• Support the Compliance Program through adherence to policies and daily practice.
