Job summary

Horizon Health Corporation is seeking a Program Director of Behavioral Health to oversee the Inpatient Behavioral Health Fort Duncan Hospital in Eagle Pass, TX. You will provide strategic clinical and operational leadership for the unit and ensure high-quality, compliant care for adults and seniors.

The role requires an RN license or LCSW in Texas, a BSN or LCSW, and a strong regulatory background with staff development experience.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Spanish required.
• BSN or LCSW licensed in TX required.
• Active RN or LCSW in Texas is required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Strong regulatory background with leadership and staff development experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight for behavioral health programs ensuring safety, quality outcomes, and evidence-based practices.
• Develop, implement, evaluate behavioral health services and models.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and ancillary leadership to integrate services.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams to address process improvements.
• Define philosophy, goals, and objectives of the treatment program with hospital administration.
