Horizon Health is seeking a Program Secretary to support the Behavioral Health program at Fort Duncan Hospital in Eagle Pass, TX. This inpatient unit has 18 beds and requires daily administrative support and HR task assistance for onboarding.

The role interacts with the program director and coordinates with corporate HR. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in Spanish, possess a HS diploma or GED, and have 1–3 years of related experience, with valid driver's license and strong organizational

Qualifications

• Bilingual with Spanish is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of working experience in a similar role.
• Valid driver's license and use of an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone and prepare correspondence, reoccurring reports and other periodic or special reports as required.
• Schedules meetings and appointments, greets visitors, patients, and their families; facilitates events as needed.
• Coordinate with HR during pre/post-employment processes; ensure I-9 and new hire forms are completed in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain personnel files; ensure corporate HR has copies of documents.
• Maintain schedule for filing court paperwork; liaise with court personnel.
• Review and verify invoices and expense reports before forwarding.
• Order office supplies and oversee maintenance of equipment.
• Provide data entry support (HBIPS, CQI, census, training docs, audits).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
