Horizon Health is seeking a Program Secretary to support the Behavioral Health program at Fort Duncan Hospital in Eagle Pass, TX. The role covers administrative duties, HR-related tasks including applicant tracking and onboarding, and liaison with Behavioral Health leadership.

The position reports to the Behavioral Health Program Director and involves verification of documents, scheduling, and data entry for program metrics; this is an on-site opportunity with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bilingual with Spanish is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of working experience in a similar role.
• Valid driver's license and use of an automobile.
• Crisis Prevention.
• Maintains required patient management certifications and training.
• Familiar with hospital and Horizon policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone and prepare correspondence, reoccurring reports and other periodic or special reports as required.
• Schedules meetings and appointments, greets visitors and families, facilitates events.
• Coordinates with HR during pre/post-employment processes; ensures I-9 and new hire forms are completed per policy.
• Creates new hire/rehire personnel files and maintains corporate HR files.
• Maintains schedule for filing court paperwork and hearings; liaises with court personnel.
• Reviews invoices and expense reports for accuracy before forwarding.
• Orders office supplies and oversees maintenance of office equipment.
• Provides data entry support (HBIPS, CQI, census, training docs, audits).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
