Horizon Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, seeks a Program Secretary to support the Behavioral Health program on the inpatient unit at Fort Duncan Hospital in Eagle Pass, TX.

This role handles daily administrative tasks, HR duties, file management, scheduling, and coordination with HR and court processes to ensure compliance. The incumbent will assist with onboarding, data entry, invoicing oversight, and supplies management, contributing to a patient-centered, compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Bilingual with Spanish is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• 1-3 years of working experience in a similar role.
• Valid driver's license and use of an automobile.
• Knowledge of HR processes and onboarding.
• Familiar with court filings and patient management policies.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone and prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents.
• Schedule meetings and greet visitors and families; facilitate events.
• Coordinate pre/post-employment processes with HR; ensure I-9 compliance.
• Create/maintain personnel files and ensure documentation is filed.
• Maintain schedule for court paperwork and hearings; liaise with court personnel.
• Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy.
• Order office supplies and oversee equipment maintenance.
• Provide data entry support (HBIPS, CQI, census, audits).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
