Qualifikationen

• Current license in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech and Language Pathologists and Audiologists
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) by ASHA
• American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers, CPR and AED.

Aufgaben

• Performs comprehensive professional evaluations of patients across ages for communication, cognitive-linguistic, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
• Maintains clinical competency requirements for patient groups and areas served.
• Selects, administers, and interprets diagnostic tools per patient development and referral reason.
• Documents diagnostic findings, recommendations, and billing in the medical record on the same day as evaluation.
• Notifies referral source of results and consults with the medical team to facilitate best care.
• Plans and conducts treatment programs for communication, cognitive-linguistic, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
