Advocate Health in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a Master’s degree and SLP-CCC to conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop treatment programs for patients across all ages. The role includes patient and family education, collaborative care planning, and participation in staff training.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year CFY experience and be committed to delivering high-quality care in a hospital setting, while supporting interdisciplinary teams

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum one year post CFY experience (CFY) preferred.
• Current license in Speech-Language Pathology as required by the state Board.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
• Candidate must have SLP-CCC (SLP-CCC).

Responsabilidades

• Performs comprehensive professional evaluation of patients across ages for differential diagnosis of communication or swallowing disorders.
• Educates patients and families about communication/swallowing deficits and treatment options; provides counseling.
• Plans and conducts treatment programs; sets short- and long-term goals; adjusts therapy to maximize progress.
• Provides in-service education and training to interns, students, and staff; delivers lectures to physicians, nurses, educators, and others.
• Coordinates patient caseload to ensure timely diagnosis and interventions; seeks opportunities to improve services.
