Advocate Health is seeking an outpatient Speech-Language Pathologist in Winston-Salem, NC, to evaluate and treat patients across ages with communication and swallowing disorders.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current state licensure, and ASHA CCC-SLP. CFY-eligible candidates with supervision support are considered; schedule is 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Minimum one year post CFY clinical experience; two years preferred.
• Current license in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the state board; ASHA CCC-SLP preferred.

Aufgaben

• Performs comprehensive professional evaluation of patients across ages for differential diagnosis of communication or swallowing disorders.
• Educates patients and families about communication or swallowing deficits and treatment options.
• Plans and conducts treatment programs for speech, language, voice and swallowing impairments; sets short- and long-term goals.
• Provides and participates in in-service education and training for interns, students, and staff; presents lectures on communication disorders.
• Improves patient care services and coordinates patient caseload to minimize delays in diagnosis or intervention.
• Evaluates augmentative/alternative communication options and recommends appropriate devices.
