Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York seeks a Senior Business Development Executive to expand relationships with technology companies in the Innovation Economy. You will drive client acquisition, cultivate a strong local network, and manage a data-driven outreach strategy in collaboration with the Technology Banking team.

You will partner with Banking, Treasury, Product, and other units to deliver comprehensive financial solutions, while mentoring the local banking team and leading prospecting initiatives

Qualifications

• 10+ years of business development, commercial banking, or other relevant sales experience in the technology ecosystem.
• Proven track record of sourcing and navigating complex sales opportunities in technology-related services.
• Ability to build community and brand awareness in a dynamic market.
• History of planning and executing events and content strategy.
• Ability to offer comprehensive solutions meeting potential client needs.
• Monitor market/industry trends to present relevant solutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive top line revenues while maximizing efficiency with a focus on risk mitigation and compliance.
• Lead the local market new business origination strategy in coordination with market executives.
• Identify top technology companies and connect with their key executives.
• Use data-driven insights to prioritize prospects and tailor outreach strategies.
• Build a channel partnership pipeline with Startup Banking to measure impact.
• Leverage COI relationships to enhance outreach and acquire new clients.
• Plan and host networking and content-focused events with centers of influence.
• Collaborate with Banking, Treasury, and product partners to cross-sell capabilities.
• Mentor and coach the banking team and lead the region's prospecting activities.
