Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Process Engineer to manage injection stretch blow mold sampling, qualification, and validation for new and rebuilt molds. You will collaborate with plant technical roles to support startups, protocol validation, and corrective actions while driving process improvements and tooling modifications to meet specs.

The role requires documenting best practices, leading DOE and process capability studies, and supporting multiple plants with data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to understand, influence, drive and negotiate with internal and external customers.
• Strong management, communication and people skills required to influence and manage multiple resources.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of mold samplings and qualification services on new, replacement or rebuilt tools.
• Optimize the molding process to meet dimensional limits within designed cycle times.
• Create and maintain Master Process Sheets for injection or blow molding processes.
• Lead tool specification meetings and provide training to plant personnel as directed.
