Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Mold Maintenance Technician to install, set up, and remove machine molds and perform preventive maintenance on production equipment. The role operates on a 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM shift, Monday through Friday.

The technician will fabricate guards, maintain mold hardware, and ensure accurate paperwork while adhering to safety, ISO, SQF, and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Excellent attendance and a good work record.
• Familiar with mold preventative maintenance inspections.
• Good housekeeping skills.
• Mechanical comprehension test score of 62% or higher.
• Good knowledge of mold components.
• Able to work overtime and have own tools.
• Tow motor certification.
• Creative problem solving ability.
• Ability to work independently with supervision.
• Physical mobility in production environment (up to 50 pounds).
• Able to recognize sounds/alarms around moving parts and perform duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform mold installation, set-up, and removal.
• Maintain mold related hardware.
• Fabricate chutes and guards to prevent cap loss and runner loss.
• Keep accurate paperwork.
• Perform any other assigned duties.
• Comply with safety, quality, customer, ISO, SQF and regulatory requirements.
• Report concerns and suggest improvements related to those requirements.
